Richard E. Macklin, Founder and President, is the driving force behind The Macklin Companies. As the organization's ultimate authority, he coordinates direction of each project, assembles the necessary teams, then personally supervises and manages each job through its completion.

Richard has extensive experience in large-scale corporate real estate development. He has supervised major commercial construction throughout the West, including projects in California, Arizona, Idaho, and Oregon. Chief among his skills are financial analysis, site evaluation and architectural/construction coordination.

Richard received his architectural degree from California Polytechnic College [DesignIntelligence’s 2006 Top 10 America’s Best Architecture & Design Schools], San Luis Obispo and has attended graduate programs in Law and Environmental Design at the University of California at Los Angeles, the Western State School of Law in San Diego and the University of Southern California.
